Capella Hotels and Resorts will open the new ultra-luxurious Capella Sochi Hotel in 2013, in time to welcome guests of the 2014 Olympic Games in Russia. The new hotel will be located within the village of Gorky Gorod 960, which, in addition to serving as a winter holiday destination, will offer visitors a cooler alternative to the Black Sea beaches during the humid Russian summers.

Designed by Russian architect Maxim Atayants with a classical façade and inner courtyard garden, the property provides 59 spacious hotel rooms — most exceeding 60 square meters in size — and unique facilities, including two restaurants, a lobby bar, a spa with indoor and infinity swimming pools, a 300-square meter ballroom, two executive boardrooms and immediate ski lift access.

Located at the foot of the Annupuri-Niseko Mountain on the Japanese island of Hokkaido, Capella Niseko will be a destination hotel with 80 rooms and a mix of residences, combining luxury hospitality with the world's best ski powder. Luxurious, warm, and modern, the hotel will surround a village center, offering rooms with private onsen, specialty restaurants, a spa/wellness center, an après-ski lounge, board rooms and retail stores. Japanese architectural principles and aesthetics will be incorporated into the design elements. The Residences will feature an exclusive community of villas, townhouses, and condominiums.
