Shanghai is arguably one of the world’s most photogenic cities. Put this theory to the test, as you pound the pavements with a locally based photographer and learn to capture professional-standard images as a relic of your stay at Capella Shanghai.
Shanghai-based professional photographer, Mr Wang, who will guide you on your shutter-happy mission was given his first camera by his father when he was just 8 years old, and quickly became obsessed with photography ‘due to its uncertainty’ and the adventure that comes alongside it. Prior to becoming a photographer, Mr Wang worked as a labourer, and though he couldn’t afford his own camera at this time, he would frame moments in his memory – a sea of young workers carrying baskets of mud, the wrinkles on his grandmother’s face – this process allowed him to develop a deep appreciation for capturing the perfect image.
Throughout the experience, you will be shown to the city’s best-kept, most Instagrammable experiences and taught the essentials in order to be able to capture professional-standard images.
