At the heart of our Sentosa Island escape are two restored Tanah Merah colonial bungalows dating back to the 1880s, from which the hotel extends into gardens and grounds framed by the sea. Inspired by Tanah Merah’s Malay translation red earth, architects Foster + Partners designed the resort to sit in harmony with the traditional architecture and the beautiful surrounding environment.
The 112 rooms, suites and villas are immersed in 30 acres of tranquil and luscious landscaped grounds, each thoughtfully and elegantly designed by Jaya Ibrahim to combine bespoke contemporary comforts with natural materials and touches of Asian tradition.
With views across the beautiful landscaped grounds or out across the South China Sea, our Premier Garden, Seaview and Constellation Rooms have expansive balconies, some with private Jacuzzis, from which to enjoy the tranquil views. Each room is equipped with amenities and personal touches to ensure our guests can let go, breathe out and relax.
Our 11 Sentosa and Capella Suites are spaciously laid out with separate living and sleeping areas for ‘home from home’ comfort. Looking out across the breath-taking seascape, each suite has a large balcony, sumptuously-appointed Rivolta Carmignani linens and thoughtful in-room details such as Aesop toiletries and BOSE sound systems.
Nestled among the lush and leafy grounds, each of our 38 Villas features an outdoor terrace with private plunge pool. One-Bedroom Villas can host two adults and two children, or three adults, and Two-Bedroom Villas can host two adults and two children or four adults.
Designed as a personal and private retreat within our beautiful estate, our Capella, Contemporary and Colonial Manors contrast design details from past and present, reflecting the tropical and tranquil spirit of Sentosa Island and providing luxurious comfort and space for families and or groups of friends.
From traditional dishes to unexpected delights, dining with Capella on Sentosa Island is a delicious journey through flavour. Inspired by the historic spice routes of Southern and Western China, Cassia offers a contemporary twist on authentic Cantonese cuisine. The Knolls, our all-day dining destination, presents a Mediterranean feast, while Bob’s is where guests retreat to watch the sunset with a carefully-curated cocktail.
