Escape from the bustling cityscape into the flourishing tranquillity of Singapore Botanic Gardens.

A personal guided tour, complete with a Capella picnic, of the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site located moment’s away from the city’s famous Orchard Road shopping district.

Soak in the sights and sounds that this lush garden has to offer, and learn about the evolution of this British tropical colonial botanic garden into the iconic institution for research and education that it is today.

The tour will end with a picnic of Ginger tea, Orchid Cake, and light bites, in the heart of the garden with your special someone as you lay down and simply relax.

In the early years, the Gardens played an important role in fostering agricultural development in Singapore and the region through collecting, growing, experimenting and distributing potentially useful plants. One of the earliest and most important successes was the introduction, experimentation and promotion of Para Rubber, Hevea brasiliensis. Now, the garden continues to play an important role as a leading tropical botanical institute, and an endearing place to all Singaporeans and tourists alike. With more than 150 years of history, the 82-hectare Gardens holds a unique and significant place in the history of Singapore and the region.

Your guide will lead you from the Heritage Museum and the famous Tembusu heritage tree to the Black and White colonial bungalow for an insight into the gardens’ rich history. Your little ones will be equally entertained by feeding the swans and fish at the serene Swan Lake.

The tour will end with a picnic of Ginger tea, Orchid Cake, and light bites, in the heart of the garden with your special someone as you lay down and simply relax.
