ART AND DESIGN
Refreshed by acclaimed Australian interior decorator Simone Haag, the Capella Manor is meticulously layered using an evolving design and procurement methodology, where vintage pieces have been woven with custom contemporary rugs, furniture and commissioned artworks. The manor showcases Asian-inspired elements through rare timbers, pewter accents, and vintage pieces like 1930s Swedish Carved Monk Chairs, creating an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and deeply personal.
Our two Colonial Manors, housed in restored historical buildings from the 1880s, have been thoughtfully reimagined by Matthew Shang Design Office (MSDO) as a globetrotter's sanctuary, making them ideal for multi-generational family travel. The transformation preserves the buildings' colonial architecture while weaving in contemporary luxuries across two floors. Each manor features flowing spaces that tell Singapore's story through carefully curated artifacts, vintage maps, and bespoke furnishings.
