The Hacienda Carretas in Queretaro, located 115 miles northeast of Mexico City, is scheduled to open in mid 2019. The Hotel, designed by the world renowned architects Legorreta, will be located within the original Hacienda Carretas, in the shadow of Queretaro’s famous aqueduct. The Hacienda was originally founded in 1547 as a rest stop for carriages carrying mineral goods from Zacatecas to Mexico City.
