Capella Singapore Celebrates National Day

Singapore, 17 July 2014 – This National Day, Capella Singapore celebrates local flavours with the Capella Singapore Satay Club experience. From 8 to 10 August 2014, diners at The Knolls restaurant at Capella Singapore will be treated to a selection of epicurean versions of a local favourite dish – freshly barbecued satay. The Satay Club experience at The Knolls will feature some of the best of traditional gourmet satay as well as a selection of freshly grilled seafood and barbecued meats.

Starting with dinner on Friday, 8 August 2014, diners at The Knolls will be greeted with the delectable aroma of fresh meats on a grill. The mouthwatering array of satay choices includes Wagyu Beef, Chicken and Lamb Loin satay complete with the traditional condiments like rice cakes, fresh pineapple and peanut sauce. Adding to the local vibe at The Knolls is an assortment of other grilled seafood and meats such as savoury Barbecue Chicken Wings, Sambal (chili) Sting Ray, and Chili, Black Pepper and Salted Egg Prawns.

The Singaporean festivities continue to a vibrant Sunday Brunch at The Knolls on 10 August, featuring the Satay Club station along with a kaleidoscope of local delights with a luxurious twist on top of the regular favourites. Some of the dishes guests can look forward to include a fresh oyster station with a selection of local dipping sauces, Chili and Black Pepper Crab Cakes, a Whole Roasted Suckling Pig and a rich Bouillabaisse made with authentically local herbs and spices.

Satay Club will start from 6:30pm onwards at The Knolls from Friday to Sunday, 8 to 10 August 2014. Satay prices start from S$3++ and S$6++ per stick, to S$12.50 per stick for the gourmet selection. Mixed Satay platters are offered at S$48++ per plate. The regular selection of ala carte local dishes offered at The Knolls such as the Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice, among many others, will be available in half and full portion options for greater variety.

National Day Sunday Brunch on 10 August 2014 starts at 12:30pm, and is priced at S$188++ per person, inclusive of free flow wines, champagne and fresh juices. Non-alcohol and children’s prices are also available for Sunday Brunch.
