SINGAPORE, 16 October 2014 – The countdown to 2015 at Capella Singapore presents an enchanting flurry of vibrant sights and sounds. Singapore’s most sophisticated New Year revelers will be able to dance the night away under the luminous night sky at Singapore’s most exclusive and exquisite New Year’s Eve Countdown Party: Capella under the Stars.

From S$258++ per person, Capella under the Stars features an exciting star studded line-up with two-time Las Vegas Variety Entertainer of the Year, Donny Ray Evins and celebrity DJ Mr Best, whose illustrious career includes DJ-ing at after-parties for The Academy Awards, The Golden Globes, and The Emmys.

This year, Capella under the Stars features all the glitz and glamour, set in the elegance of Bob’s Bar. Guests will enjoy free flow of wines and beers which goes perfectly with a selection delectable canapés created by Capella Singapore’s Executive Chef, David Senia, as well as a champagne toast to welcome the New Year.

The festivities begin with a luxurious five-course dinner menu. Guests can choose to dine in the warm and inviting atmosphere at The Knolls, enjoying delectable favourites such as a refreshing Salpicon Salad made with fresh shellfish in a “Frantoi Cutera” olive oil from Sicilia and citrus sauce, Cream of Dubarry scented with horseradish, caviar and smoked eel and a Slow-Cooked Grass-fed Wagyu Strip-Loin with veal marrow croquettes, chard lettuce, roasted beans christened with bordelaise sauce.

For those who prefer a more formal New Year’s Eve dinner, Cassia offers a lavish traditional Chinese menu which highlights a starter Trilogy Platter featuring the Steamed Lobster Dumpling with Gold Flakes, Deep-fried Suckling Pig with Minced Shrimp, Roasted Bacon Roll with Black Truffle, Mushroom and Salted Egg Yolk as well as a Braised Supreme Bird’s Nest with Superior Stock and Stewed Australia Abalone with Flower Mushroom and Vegetables just to name a few, served in the comfort and elegance of Cassia’s modern yet oriental trappings.

Singapore’s ultimate New Year experience can be celebrated incorporating three nights’ accommodation.
