A Month of Festive Feasting at Capella Singapore
SINGAPORE, 31 October 2014 – Paving the way to the New Year, guests at Capella Singapore will enjoy a kaleidoscope of festive activities at Capella Singapore.
Setting the stage for the festive cheer, from 1 to 23 and 26 to 30 December 2014, The Knolls presents delectable festive set lunch and dinner menus featuring sensational mouth-watering creations by Executive Chef David Senia. Menu highlights include a Slow-cooked Turkey Breast with Christmas crumble and Citrus marinated Prawns with a red potato confit and caviar.
Adding a decadently sweet note to the festive cheer, every Friday evening, starting 21 November till 3 January 2015, The Knolls presents Singapore’s most delectable Chocolate and Tea Experience featuring a buffet spread of confectionary made with Valrhona Chocolate and free flow of bespoke Gryphon Tea. In addition to the evening’s fanfare, guests will also be able to purchase the perfect festive gifts with limited edition chocolate and tea collections from Valrhona and Gryphon available exclusively at Capella Singapore.
On 24 and 25 December 2014, guests can celebrate an authentically Mediterranean Christmas at The Knolls with special Christmas Eve and Christmas menus. Festivities include carolers, Santa Claus and Santarina, and specially-tailored activities for the children. Christmas Day at The Knolls also features a vibrant Christmas Brunch spread filled with traditional festive favourites.
Keeping the festivities going, throughout the month of December, guests will be able to enjoy Afternoon Tea with a festive twist, featuring a delightful blend of savoury and sweet festive treats such as a Ginger Molasses Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, Salty Caramel Profiteroles and Green Tea Chestnut Opera cake.
For guests who prefer a more romantic Christmas, Cassia will be offering Oriental set menus served in its intimate and elegant setting with lavish menus highlights such as Double-boiled Abalone Soup with guinea fowl and ginseng as well as Steamed Lobster with light soya sauce and vegetables.
